Audition Preparation Crash Course! * $150 * Age 9+ THREE DAY WORKSHOP led by HCT's Leading Ladies: Education Director Lisa Foss and Outreach Programs Coordinator Emely Larson.

Students will gain valuable experience working on techniques and essential skills for being prepared for auditions! The first session will focus Musical Theatre: Students will learn how to act through song and learn some quick dance combination basics that will give them confidence to tackle the rigors of a musical theatre audition. The second session will focus on monologues and cold readings: Students will get pointers on how to make the most of their audition time and practice quick text analysis tricks that will help them make good, clear acting choices with their material. The third and final session will be a mock audition with a guest panel and pointed feedback for each individual student.
