Youth Acting     $215 -SOLD OUT!-

Our acting classes are the cornerstones of all our programming. Students learn about the techniques involved in acting while working on various scripts, theatre games and situation improvisation.

Musical Theatre Dance      $200

Grades: 4-7      Saturdays 12:30PM - 1:30PM          

In this class students will explore the many styles of dance that you see in Broadway shows and beyond! Along with the development of standard dance skills and techniques, focus will be placed on how character influences movements and attitudes!

Acting for Film $240

Students will learn various on-camera techniques including acting in short-film, individual scenes and TV commercials. In order to experience the full film-making process the class will experience behind-the-scenes aspects including: screen writing, directing and tech crew. Students will receive a copy of their work.

Grades: 4+     Saturdays 1:00 - 4:00

 3 holiday performances: 12/17 at 7:00pm

                                     12/18 at 10:00am & 2:00pm

 What happens when the worst behaved kids EVER want to be in the Christmas pageant? Total chaos ensues!  This class is for dedicated performers with experience.

Musical Theatre Cabaret* $350

Rehearsals: Tuesdays 6:00pm - 7:30pm 9/24 - 12/8, 2010

Students will create and perform in a holiday themed cabaret in venues state-wide. This is a performance class for dedicated and experienced actors. In addition to being the face of HCT, students will also be featured at our annual Kid At Heart Gala.

PRIVATE LESSONS...

THIS COURSE OF STUDY IS INTENDED FOR SERIOUS STUDENTS OF ALL AGES WHO ARE LOOKING TO CONCENTRATE IN A PARTICULAR ARTISTIC DISCIPLINE AND BENEFIT FROM ONE ON ONE INSTRUCTION WITH AN ESTEEMED HARTFORD CHILDREN'S THEATRE TEACHING ARTIST. Please note: Discounts off multiple classes DO NOT apply to private lessons.

Guitar Lessons or Piano Lessons    $25 per session

Ages:  All ages      Wednesdays and Saturdays by appointment only  30 min. sessions

Lessons will be scheduled by appointment only. All levels are welcome to study with our professional guitar teachers. *Purchase of a music book based on your starting level will be required.  All ages are welcomed! 

Private Voice Lessons    $40 per 45 min. session

    Wednesdays & Saturday by appointment only 45 min. sessions 

Young singers work one-on-one with an experienced voice instructor. Limited slots are available for appointments on Wednesdsay and Saturdays. Students will be expected to practice at home between lessons.

Private Acting Coaching    $30 per 30 min. session  $40 per 45 min. session

     By appointment  30 or 45 min. sessions 

Actors will work one-on-one with our versatile and experienced instructor.  Limited slots are available for appointments.
