HARTFORD CHILDREN’S THEATRE TICKET POLICIES 

PROCESSING
Single tickets to all Hartford Children’s Theatre productions may be ordered through our online ticketing service found at: www.hartfordchildrenstheatre.org.
It is secure, fast and convenient. We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express Cards.  A processing fee of $2.50 per ticket will be added to all single ticket web orders.  All sales are final. 

In-person box office purchases may be made with cash, check or charge on the evenings of performances, though advance reservations are always recommended. Group ticket rates are available by calling the box office on 860.249.7970.   

SPECIAL NEEDS SEATING
Hartford Children’s Theatre offers wheelchair accessible seating for each performance. If you or someone in your party requires this, please call the Box Office on 860.249.7970 for arrangements and availability. 

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges on single ticket purchases. 

LATECOMERS POLICY
Reserved seating will be held until curtain, after which alternate seating will be used.  In consideration of patrons already seated in the theatre, latecomers or persons leaving the auditorium will not be seated until an appropriate scene change or intermission at the discretion of management.  Latecomers are not guaranteed seats, so please arrive at the venue on time.   

MISSED SHOWS
If are unable to attend your scheduled performance due to an emergency or last minute scheduling conflict, we offer two options:  Standby TicketsTickets may be available for another performance of the production you missed for a service fee of $5 per ticket.  Standby tickets cannot be reserved in advance. The Box Office will try to guide you to performances that are not sold out, however, we cannot guarantee that tickets will be available.  Standby tickets will be distributed 15 minutes before curtain at performances that are not sold out. Half-Price TicketsYou may purchase half-price tickets to another performance of the production you missed. Tickets should be ordered in advance from the box office. 

TICKETS FOR CHILDREN
Children 2 and older must purchase a ticket to attend all performances at Hartford Children’s Theatre.  Ushers may ask parents whose children are noisy to remove them from the theater until they are able to return without disrupting other patrons. If there is repeated disruption, we reserve the right to revoke admission and refund your ticket price, excluding service charges. 

CAMERAS & OTHER RECORDING DEVICES
The use of any recording device, either audio or video, and the taking of photographs, either with or without flash, is strictly prohibited.  Recording is in direct violation of copyright laws and is a distraction to audience members and performers.  Theatre Management reserves the right to confiscate recording equipment and delete all material in violation of this policy.   Please ensure that all noise-making electronic devices such as cellular phones, beepers and watches, are turned off before the show starts.
